Spruce Design Build Logo and Brand Design
Spruce Design Build specializes in infill projects across Winnipeg, helping clients confidently grow their portfolios with brand-new rental properties tailored for today’s market. I was brought on to create a full brand package for this new company.
The final logo uses an icon as a main part of the brand, which can be viewed as tiered roofs with a window or a spruce tree.
I expanded the use of the main arrow shape to act as a signature brand element, creating a visual language along with the brand font and colours.
The diagonal lines in the same angle as the spruce icon can be used as backgrounds or transitions from one colour to another, in any of the brand colours. The stippled lines can be used to support photography or graphic elements.
The diamond in the icon can be expanded to be used as a window for photography or content, with arrows on top and bottom used as a frame. Arrows should typically be in green and slight transparency can be applied to make the effect more subtle.
With the branding package, I developed business cards, icons, a sample landing page, a mission and vision document, and a potential instagram ad.
