The Monday Club Logo and Brand Design

The Monday Club is a female owned business providing assistance to small businesses in terms of content creation, marketing materials, and expert advice. They wanted a unique, forward thinking brand that also made use of funky retro visuals.

The brand consists of a simple monogram, the monogram with text, and the primary full wordmark logo, as well as a colour palette of cool purples and warm beige shades with a tangerine accent colour.

The treatment of brand images should always be in black and white, and heavily edited with added noise and halftone shading. It’s recommended to choose something quirky or unexpected to add fun to the brand.

To balance the otherwise fun, bright colours and sensibilities of the brand, occasionally make use of full frame photos treated in the same way as the other brand photos (noise, halftones). If the photo does not take up the full frame, using rounded corners is recommended. Then, bright text, triple lines, starbursts and other graphics can be layered on the photo for contrast.
